Hello everyone and thank you for stopping by! I guess the best way to describe myself is that I’m now a Technical Account Manager (TAM) covering the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region for VMware. Prior to joining VMware, I was a Sr. IT Infrastructure Engineer working for a rather large Healthcare IT insurer (also in Pittsburgh). I’m also a husband, a father, a techie, a photographer, and a casual gamer who also enjoys home improvement projects. I started this blog as a way to document and share technology-related information and experiences with anyone who might find it helpful or useful. My goal is focus primarily on virtualization-related technologies, but I may also post some other bits from time to time.
If you’re on Twitter, I’m @dougdefrank for tech-related things and @dskwared412 for my photography-related stuff. I’m also on Instagram at @dougdefrank there, too. And, it goes without saying that the views and opinions expressed here are purely my own.
If you’d like to learn more about me, I sat down with Ariel Sanchez Mora at the 2019 Pittsburgh VMUG UserCon, where we recorded a “Meet the vExpert” interview and posted it on the vBrownBag YouTube channel. Have a look:
